Arts Integration is a fun and exciting way to increase engagement, questioning, and authentic learning in the classroom. In this session, participants will explore ways of using drama to teach core content areas at the middle school level. Using a practical approach, teachers will gain understanding of how best to use different drama processes to enable and support learning for their students.
Outcomes: Throughout the 60-minute session, participants will gain information about how they can incorporate Drama into their own subjects to enhance engagement and learning, and will take part in a practical example of how to use Drama processes to frame a unit of learning. Participants will leave with fresh ideas about how to present learning in an exciting and engaging way.
